ALBUM INFORMATION
Elliot Wolff wrote and produced three tracks on the album, “Ain’t Never Gonna Give You Up” featuring Color Me Badd, “Didn’t I Say I Love You”, the b-side to Paula’s first single “My Love Is For Real” and the infectious hip-hop groove “Ho Down”.
“Ain’t Never Gonna Give You Up” was the third and final single released from the album, and Paula Abdul’s last commercial single to date. The single received little promotion from Virgin Records with the exception of Paula Abdul’s live appearance on The Tonight Show and a very brief showing on the NBC late-night talk show, Later with Greg Kinnear.
The “Head Over Heels” album peaked at #18 on the Billboard charts and sold less than 200,000 copies.
“Head Over Heels” was released on June 13th, 1995.
